Do You Know His Voice?

What gives Calvinists the license to add the word “elect” into the passages of Scripture? And interpret them with that meaning? These men don’t say they are preaching Calvinism, they say what they’re preaching is the gospel. And in fact, if you’ll listen to these men preach, not one of them from their pulpits, from their stadiums where they hold their rallies, ever preaches Calvinism. They preach the gospel and call all to salvation. What hypocrisy when you know that your God has already, arbitrarily, just because it gives him kicks and jollies, and He can do it because He’s sovereign God, chooses to create a man, give him a message that’s hopeless to him because he’s already been predetermined to damnation. When you read Calvinism, and you see the God that they’ve created, this monster. A liar, a murderer. I can’t think of one man that’s ever lived, including Hitler and Mao and Dahmer and these other people, that’s worse than this “Jehovah God” they’ve created. The Bible says God is love; amen? And there’s not one thing in the pillars of Calvinism, that reveal a loving God. A merciful God. A God who’s gracious. A God who’s tender and kind. When we look at different aspects, the one thing you’ll find is this, and they won’t deny it: God could’ve chosen—this is their theology—to save all mankind, but He didn’t. He could’ve saved all of these hundreds of millions from eternal damnation, from darkness where there’s weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth, from separation from the light—God is light, from the God of love. He could’ve done it. And because He’s sovereign, He thought, “Nah. I’d rather you die. Why? Just because I can. And I’m going to show you Who’s in charge around here. And I’ll show My sovereign power. I could’ve saved you but I’m not going to.” And that’s the doctrine. Tragic.
And the lengths they will go to defend Calvin and demean Jesus boggles the mind. This didn’t originate with Calvin. Calvin plagiarized Augustine. This is all Augustinian theology. Augustine was the chief theologian of the Roman Catholic Church. He’s the one that started systematic theology for the Roman Church. This commitment to Calvinism, to Augustinianism is so strong that back when Calvin tried to create heaven on earth in Geneva—he started his own society, and they were eventually going to take over the world from there and usher in the millennium. Does that sound Roman? That’s the Roman Church. They don’t believe in any of the things that would establish a pre-millennial communion and fellowship and restoration between the church and its Savior. They don’t believe in the rapture. They don’t believe in the tribulation. Their belief is we’re already tribulating and this is going to be overcome by the church, and eventually, then, the millennium will come in, and the lion will lay down with the lamb. And then Peter will hand Jesus, finally, the keys to the church, to the world.
When you talk with so many of these people on the surface, they won’t tell you what they really believe. In Calvin’s day, they had many of the Anabaptists, many of the Arminians killed because of their refusal to baptize infants. This was Calvin. This was the church leader. This was supposedly the most enlightened man in Christendom at that time, and he was murdering people because they wouldn’t baptize babies. Professed Christians. In fact, Arminius’s doctrine is virtually biblical. They were hated because they worshipped the Lord and not the Calvinist doctrine. The professed church is preaching Calvinism and not the gospel. And, His sheep know His voice and another they will not follow; amen?
