I know of two occasions in my life where people have given testimonies—I remember somebody coming to my home years ago and brought a handkerchief.  They were going to New York to place it upon one of their relatives not expected to live.  I remember praying over that handkerchief, believing God, and the testimony coming back of the divine healing, the deliverance of that individual.  God instantly healed them when that handkerchief was placed upon them.  The power of God that’s in us.  What faith does; amen?  I just tell this because I enjoy telling the story.  You’ve all heard it, but Sword of the Spirit broadcast had only been on the air for a week.  One of the first letters we ever received, Post Office Box 377, Sterling, VA.  These people were listening and faith began to rise up in their hearts.  One of their relatives was living behind them, had been bedridden for a long period of time.  We were teaching along these lines of the transference of power.  This person got so excited that faith rose up in them, that they just grabbed the radio and ran in the backyard and put the radio on him and said, “Be healed!”  Guy was instantly healed, praise God!

God will meet at us at our point of faith; amen?  There’s nothing in the Bible that says to lay radios on people, but according to our faith it’s unto us, the transference of power.  “When I come, will I find faith on the earth?”  Interesting question Jesus asked.  What does the church look like that Jesus is coming to receive unto Himself?  It should look just like the first-century church; amen?  We’ve gotten a lot of dirt and a lot of filth in 2,000 years, but His bride is making herself ready.  Hallelujah!  We’re being cleansed.  We’re being washed with this water of the Word of God.  The bride is making herself ready.  We’re stripping off all of the bondage and the chains of the love of this world.  He’s coming for a church that replicates His ministry.  “For if I go to the Father, I’m going to send the Holy Ghost to you.  The things that I’ve done shall you do, and greater things than these shall you do because I’ve gone to the Father.  I’m now at the right hand of the Father making intercession for you.”  There’s not one time that you go out to minister the gospel, that you get ready to lay your hands on somebody, that He’s not there praying for you, praise God.  Amen?

“Go in this, thy power: have not I sent thee?”  Hallelujah!  He’s healing and bringing deliverance.  He, then, goes on and heals Peter’s mother-in-law.  Verse 16, then picks it up and says this, “And when the evening was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick.”  And healed all that were sick.  The reputation had already gone out, that this great man, people were still trying to sort out who He was.  The question even asked, “When the Messiah comes, will He do greater works than these?”  The fame had already gone around concerning Him.  He would tell people, “Don’t tell anybody.”  And they had to run out and tell everybody they could find, and that’s what will happen when we begin to see people raised up and delivered.  They’re going to go out and tell people, and then people are going to come and say, “Sirs, we would see Jesus.”  Amen?  We want to reach people in these last days.  We shouldn’t even have to be necessarily going out to them.  They should be coming unto us and say, “Sirs, we would see Jesus.”  We’ve seen the evidence of it.  We’ve seen divine healing.  We’ve seen insane people delivered.  We’ve seen a love for one another that’s inexplicable, God’s in this place—what a glory, what a joy that would be to see His name exalted in that manner, and that we could be a small part of it.  “Here am I, Lord, send me.”  Now, they weren’t coming for salvation.  They were coming just to get healed.  They didn’t realize what this whole package was.
