Devotional Series: The Integrity of God's Word
Teaching: The Integrity Of God's Word pt. 3 (SUN_AM 2021-06-20) by Pastor Star R Scott

The Lord’s good.  Hallelujah!  Let’s turn to Mark, Chapter 4.  There are good reports coming back from Africa.  Everything that we’ve been praying for is manifesting itself.  Great, positive, reports from the meeting with our men and the stabilizing of different lives of leaders there.  Great hearts and great spirits in receiving some of the admonition and corrections that need to go forth.  We give God all the glory for it; amen?  There have been even more opportunities arising for the distribution of books than we’d even expected, so some good news there.  Later we’ll be sharing in detail, of course, but we wanted you to know that your prayers are availing much, and let’s continue; amen?

Mark, Chapter 4.  We’ve been dealing a little bit with the subject of the integrity of the Word of God.  Aren’t you glad that God’s Word is sure to a thousand generations?  Amen?  Heaven and earth will pass away, but there will not be the slightest jot or tittle that will ever diminish from the Word of God.  Thy Word is truth, praise God!  Of course, in the hour that we’re living, especially here in our country, we are facing the fruit of decades of sowing secular humanism into our schools and into our society.  Isn’t it interesting that even our corporations and the government seem to take it upon themselves to continue to brainwash people with this humanistic, secular, thought process?  When supposedly, we, as a nation, were founded under the great statement, “In God We Trust.”  Of course, today it’s, “In the government we trust,” “In the corporation we trust.”

We see the fulfillment of the Scriptures that men in this last hour are becoming worshipers of the creation and not the Creator.  Jesus said, “Greater is he that builds the house, has designed the house, than the house itself.”  God is the origin of all things.  Everything was made by Him and for Him; amen?  Without Him was not anything made that was made.  Now, stop and think, that means secular governments.  Whatever is in existence, God is the origin of it and the Lord over it.  So, all of this spirit of antichrist that we see opposes the Judeo-Christian ethics on which this nation was founded is just an indicator of the last days.  For in the last days there will be a great falling away from faith, from the knowledge of God.  In these last days, men will be lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, the Scripture says.  So, we find ourselves in this generation.

We found that people have been indoctrinated to the place where it’s very strange to speak to people that have been inundated with the thought processes of situational ethics.  The “fact” that there are no absolutes, that men find truth within themselves.  Things that used to be so common and believed by everybody.  Not only are people shocked when you hold to those ethics, to those foundational truths on which we were established, but they look at us not only as strange but also as dangerous.

So, in the midst of this society, we’ve been commanded to go into this world, this crooked and perverse generation.  He said, “I want you to go into this world.  I want you to go among these wolves,” as the Lord calls them, “and preach this gospel.  Go into all the world and preach this gospel.”  Paul said, “I’m not ashamed of the gospel.  It’s the power of God to salvation.”  Tragically, so many churches today are ashamed of the Gospel.  We see the Word of God being compromised.
