Confirmed With Signs Following

Take a few minutes and go to Isaiah 53 and just meditate on those few verses. Spend some time and let your heart catch the magnitude of what’s taking place there. In Matthew 8:14, Jesus had just healed Peter’s mother-in-law. Let me just throw in a little quick zinger here. Jesus healed her and she went shopping? Jesus healed her and she went to the beach? No, Jesus healed her, and she got up and served others; amen? The reason nobody was sick for all those years in the wilderness is that God had a place for them to go. They didn’t need to be hanging around and having to take care of all these sick people, and then have to wait for these groups to catch up.
As we love His Word, as we meditate on His Word, as we come about Father’s business, He’s going to sustain us and strengthen us to finish the work. He went with them, “confirming the word with signs following” (Mark 16:20); amen? Many of us would experience more of the supernatural if we would become more offensive in the kingdom of God, more offensive with our witnessing, more offensive with letting people know, “Hey let me pray for you. Jesus will heal you.” What if He doesn’t? Well, what if He does? Then God will be glorified. If you don’t pray, nothing happens; amen? “Ye have not, because ye ask not” (James 4:2). We’ve been commissioned to go out and have signs and wonders following our lives on a daily basis. Go out! Preach the kingdom of God. Heal the sick. Raise the dead. Cast out devils. That’s the church; amen? We’ve let it get away and I think we’re going to go out and see it coming back. I believe God’s Word is going to manifest itself among us. We are a people that do the Word of God. I believe the Holy Ghost is going to start convincing some of us that He will, in fact, go with you. Be bold. Be as a little child.
Somebody came up and told me just the other day that they were in a situation, and they were with some folks that were—what’s the best way I can say this—kind of influential. Not personal good friends, but kind of influential, kind of like a business thing or whatever. Their little child said, “Daddy, do they know Jesus?” He said, “Well, I’m going to find out here in a minute. Go play with the kids.” It wasn’t long and little kid came back and said something along these lines, “Daddy, did you talk to them yet?” “Well, not yet.” The little child responded, “Well, I took care of the kids!” Amen?
Father, we thank You for Your Word. We just ask that You strengthen us and show us Your glory. Be made big among us, Lord. Let us boast in You. We have no fear of failure. Obedience cannot fail; it can only be honored by our God. Father, You will respond in revelation, in grace, in power if we will obey You and keep Your commandments. And we give You all the praise and all the glory for that. In Jesus’ name, amen.
