We were just looking at documents yesterday that are already in Great Britain and directed exclusively toward the church.  And there’s going to be an attack on the church here anytime soon.  It’s going to happen very soon!  And we’ve got people worried about the erosion of the First Amendment.  I would tell the church today, “Stop worrying about the erosion of the First Amendment and start taking thought for your life!”  It will not be a First Amendment issue; it will be a hatred against the church, and they’ll put you in jail, and they’ll kill you for your stand on the truth of God’s Word and the lordship of Jesus Christ when you stand and say, “There is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved,” but the name of Jesus!  It’s not going to be tolerated.  It’s already in the works.  Now, you can be naïve if you want and think not and think maybe this is an exaggeration, but it’s in print already of what’s being prepared in Great Britain.

Look at the veracity of this.  Look at the magnitude of this.  A father delivering up their own child, the children rising up against their parents and cause them to be put to death!  What’s this all about?  Just the name of Jesus.  This prophetic word began—but was not fulfilled—in the first century.  It is a prophetic statement to the church, and Beloved, the book of Acts is still being written.  And for generations, in every generation, somewhere throughout this globe, these truths have been coming to pass, year after year, year after year.  And we as Americans seem to think it’s always going to be somewhere else.  It’s here.  Antichrist is alive and well in America.  And the whore, the apostate religious system, is just beginning to feel this authority that Satan is entrusting to them.  And the bride is making herself ready!  And we’re preparing ourselves for this hour, and we need to remind ourselves, beloved, this is what’s coming to us.  “And ye shall be hated (verse 22—) of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”  Can you say “Praise God” for that?  So we realize:  Here’s the spirit, this is the conflict for the covenant people from the beginning.

There’s hatred for the name of Jesus, and that there’s no limit to what people will do to silence this Word that you and I love.  That day’s coming, and don’t let it overtake you unawares.  We’re children of light, we’re aware this is coming; it’s not going to take us by surprise.  “You will be hated of all men for My sake” (Matthew 10:22, Mark 13:13, Luke 21:17).  This persecution is going to come upon the face of the earth.  Second Timothy 3, verse 12, “All that live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.”  The Scripture speaks very clearly that that’s what awaits you and me in this hour.
