The Pure Word

Scripture: Matthew 24:35
Devotional Series: Are You That Light?
Teaching: Are You That Light? pt. 1 (WED 2024-07-03) by Pastor Star R Scott

Hallelujah!  Amen.  The Lord is good; amen?  His mercies endure forever, hallelujah!  We got some real good news yesterday on the books.  We just got word yesterday that everything for the books to go into China are finished.  The strategy, now, is getting the books into the country, into the different pastors’ lives.  They’ll be going both to the underground church, and the different state churches that are operating for those that are looking for just some real good, sound doctrine in these last days, because the one thing that we do know is that in the last days men will not endure sound doctrine.

We need sound doctrine in our churches today.  We don’t need cheerleaders.  We don’t need jumping and shouting and screaming and prophesies and visions.  They will come as the Lord orders.  We sure don’t need to work them up.  Everywhere you go, people seem to think that’s a sign of revival.  A sign of revival is having your faith established on the foundation of the truth of the gospel, where Jesus has paid the price, full redemption with His own body and His own blood; amen?  Once for all, praise God, who became sin with our sin that we might be made righteous with His righteousness.  That’s the foundation that needs to be solidified in every one of our lives.

We’re living in a day when the Antichrist is going to rise, and there are going to be lying signs and wonders that are going to amass crowds and people, and all of this great demonstration that natural flesh is so drawn to.  We’re going to see the false prophet establishing the false doctrine of the last hour, which will be the doctrine of compromise.  In other words, “Unity is more important than doctrine.  Peace and harmony are more important than doctrine.”  His Word will never pass away; amen?  It is the sure foundation on which each and every one of our lives are built, and we just give Him all of the glory for that.  As those potential doors open up, we’re just going to, I believe, see God glorified as many of these pastors are able to bring the simplicity of the gospel in this hour.  We’re living in a time when the church wants “deeper” things, dreams, visions.

But what the church needs is the pure Word of God.
