Not Willing That Any Would Perish

Consider and rejoice in the great blessings of God, and what manner of love He’s bestowed upon us that we would be called the children of God. And it doesn’t yet appear what we shall be but we know this, praise God, we’re going to see Him as He is and we’re going to be like Him; amen? He’s gone and prepared a place for us, hallelujah! Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, it hasn’t entered into the heart of man the things that God has prepared for those that love Him, praise God! What a celebration it is in the heavens when that soul finally makes it home; amen? You know, the Scripture says clearly, and we’ve dealt with it numerous times, but in Luke 13 the question was asked, “Are few saved?” Are few saved? And that’s quite a comment. And you remember the answer of the Lord was, “Strive to enter in.” Amen? But the good news for us all is the Lord is not willing that any would perish. Great, merciful God!
In Revelation 7, he’s talking about the tribulation period. And we know that it’s called the hour of God’s wrath. This is a time of bringing justice on the earth. We know that, following these seven years, He’s going to enter into the millennial reign, and He’s going to rule the nations with a rod of iron. The good news is, we will have already ascended into heaven and experienced the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, hallelujah! We’re going to return with Him. We will ever be with Him, ruling and reigning, praise God, throughout His creation. We know, here in the book of Revelation, only what God has chosen to reveal to us as it pertains with His dealing of man’s redemption. I believe there’s more to be seen and, of course, we can’t go there because we don’t have Scripture on it. But I believe that there’s great things that we will see, know, and participate in throughout all of God’s creation, not just planet Earth. God’s a big God! And we’re going to rule and we’re going to reign with Him, and He gives us details. And we know what the Scriptures reveal to us and that’s sure; the other’s just speculation. But God is big! I mean, this whole universe He can hold in the span of His hand; amen? The great and mighty oceans of our planet, He can hold in the hollow of His hand. Most of us here can’t hold a tablespoon. Our God is great!
And in this time frame, as I said, we’ll be returning with Him. And His wrath begins to manifest on the earth. And even in this moment of justice and judgment—the great white throne still waits ahead—men are going to receive just recompense. Every idle word is going to be dealt with that men have spoken in their heart. They will give an account of every evil thought, every evil word, every evil imagination. And God will be seen and declared just by all creation at the end of this judgment. But in this period of seven years, in this period of justice, the wrath of God being manifest, the wrath of the Lamb being manifest, Chapter 7 starts off and says, “And after these things I saw four angels, and they were holding the four winds of the earth. And I saw another angel descending from the east, having the seal of the living God.” And He says as this judgment begins to manifest, verse 3, “Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed a hundred and forty-four thousand of all of the tribes of the children of Israel.” So, we see Him then establish this core of evangelists that are going to be used to proclaim the good news—the kingdom of God being established in this hour.
